[Piped-Piped] ``Yanan: Blast! I will have to stop! Message reads, Saucer is full of fuel, but it is reading half full! What do we do? --- I am on my way, thirty units. That is dinner off Qualla, but we can eat in at Kara’s.

``Scotty: I will read out a translation of what the paper says: --- [Weekly Press Review] - [Elder is found Guilty] Zizz the deposed Elder 008 was convicted on fraud charges, and was fined ข50,000, but escaped a custodial sentence. He has agreed to pay back the additional expenses to the Oligarchy at ข500 per month. He was not available for comment, but his advocate said that Zizz will be selling his place and moving out of the area to pay off the very high imposed fine. ``Vanna: That is very good news. ``Leila: That should set a new precedent, but who will be next? ``Scotty: He was the easy one, but he would have made four times that much, so he still got off lightly. ``Vanna: Well it is a conviction, and that is the main thing. ``Leila: Once the Higher court gave the Lower court the authority, they probably felt that they had to act strongly. ``Scotty: Utica has now been cautioned. ``Leila: Great news, but what about Yerba? ``Scotty: All quiet and he is too close to the Chair and he is a very clever Bear, as he always covers his tracks. ``Vanna: We have a meeting this afternoon with Joya to meet the two candidates for our design engineering project, so shall we all meet there at 15th time? ``Leila: Agreed. ``Scotty: The only message I have received from Ted is ‘all too quiet in papers’. ``Vanna: I think we ought to shortly go back to Earth, just for a small trip, although we could stay longer over Xmas and Leila can be with her Mum. ``Leila: That’s nice. ``Zola: What’s going on, for this sudden enthusiasm for Earth? ``Leila: Memories, guilt, and responsibility. ``Vanna: The Captain did say he would be willing to do us a run in the next couple of qefs, so we are waiting for him to come off leave.

{Space Dock Control ~ 6}
``Kirin: Captain we have a technical problem, and we presume that the fuel gauge is faulty, but we have no means of draining the fuel out to hopefully replace the faulty components. ``Captain: Why have you not gone to full alert status? ``Kirin: Err Captain, there was only a little spillage when the overflow valve blew! ``Captain: [Presses Alert button] - [Dong-dong-dong] This should have been done immediately Bear! ``Kirin: Err, sorry Captain. ``Captain: Damn it Bear, this is a public facility and your first responsibility is to the public, and not your selfish ego, because if anyone goes it must be you Bear! Surely the manual figures told you that we had plenty of fuel? ``Kirin: Qaa Captain, although it was well under half full, so I did not check it, before refuelling; as the gauge was reading nearly empty. ``Captain: That means we have had a problem for sometime. ``Kirin: Zaa Captain. ``Captain: Okay! Pipe the engineer in now, as I do not like sitting on a potential time bomb, First Officer! ``Kirin: Zaa Captain. ``Captain: Also Pipe in the fuel depot. I want them over here right now and then get a message off to Leila, and Kara in catering, can they go to Earth tonight? ``Kirin: Zaa Captain. ``Captain: Jarry, why has the emergency generator not kicked in? ``Jarry: Err, we did not believe it was an emergency, Sir. ``Captain: [shouts] Do it now Bear! The alarm has gone off, and cut the main power source now! ``Jarry: Zaa, Captain. ``Captain: The only thing I can do, is to have a trip to Earth, to burn off some of this lot! I have never known to have a full tank before!

[lights go down again, then come back on]
``Kara: Captain! What is the emergency about? ``Captain: Get back to your duties, because your responsibility is with your customers! ``Kara: Oh, sorry Captain. ``Depot: Depot Sir! ``Captain: Why did your equipment not show that we have a full tank of fuel? ``Depot: I will look into it straight away, Sir --- ``Fire: Fire Sir, what can I do to help? ``Captain: Keep an eye on that spilt fuel, and can you dilute it down? ``Fire: Zaa, Sir, I will do it now, Sir.
