``Elder 3: Now we come on to the moral issues and I recall the Captain back to the stand. ``Elder 2: Your report implies that you went straight on the attack! How can that be morally right? ``Captain: It cannot be, but we were in a new Saucer, so we did not know its limitations, and we had just dropped out of Hyperdrive at 25 Km. Therefore we had no warning, and I have to consider my travellers. ``Elder 9: What other options did you have open to you? ``Captain: None that I was aware off, but we did not deliberately go out to kill, just to maim. ``Elder 8: Could you not have withdrawn and gone back into Hyperdrive? ``Captain: Their aircraft has flight data recorders, and if it had got back home safely, they would have seen some very unusual activity. ``Elder 3: Any further questions? [Qaa's] I presume we can move on to the last part!

This is to decide on whether we continue the runs to Earth, and if there are other future concerns or considerations or no-go areas. Vanna, take the stand please. ``Elder 5: Vanna, why do you think it was the right decision? ``Vanna: The rules of karma, state that the higher world has to protect itself from the lower world. Therefore, we were following strict protocol. ``Elder 2: The rules also state that we must give the others the benefit of the doubt, but this appears not to have happened! ``Vanna: The Stealth Bomber was past its normal range limits, by 5 Km. That to me is not a defensive role, but an offensive one. ``Elder 4: Surely there were other options open at that time? ``Vanna: I wish, but we were acclimatizing to the change in pressure, when the alarm went off. ``Elder 7: Would you like to continue the runs? ``Vanna: Zaa. ``Elder 8: Would you do it again if you had to? ``Vanna: Absolutely, but I pray that it will never happen.

``Elder 3: Therefore, can we have a show of hands please? --- Unanimous, Chair. ``Elder 1: I am very pleased with your responsibility in asking these awkward questions and the profound answers in response to a very difficult situation. ``Vanna: Hallo, we are home! ``Sandy: How did it go? ``Vanna: All’s well, which ends well. ``Leila: It was heavy going. ``Zola: Our Captain held up well, but very valid points from the floor. ``Scotty: Everyone pulled their weight. ``Sandy: What happens now? ``Leila: Scotty, will have to make another application to the Elders to extend our hospitality to the Chinese, as it did not come up. ``Scotty: Good job too. ``Vanna: What have you been doing today? ``Sandy: I did go for a long walk in the woods, and your countryside is fascinating. It is massive. Dartmoor looks small to this place. ``Vanna: Are you hungry? ``Sandy: Yes. I have only had a snack and a drink. ``Vanna: I will do a round of leaf teas and get some dinner on the go.

{Captain’s Place ~ 2 + Qualla}
``Yanan: These new laser guns for mining use, I would never had thought they would have been able to disintegrate a whole aircraft into nothing! ``Qualla: Nor would I, as they are designed for extracting minerals. ``Yanan: I would only have had two, if I had known, as we would never have needed them! ``Qualla: You were not to know that from 2 Km away! ``Yanan: But should I have known that? ``Qualla: How come that they were modified for the S182? ``Yanan: That is a good point, so who else needed them to be that powerful? ``Qualla: We will probably never know. ``Yanan: There are many of our S182’s around. ``Qualla: I saw some on Planet Q. ``Yanan: Zaa, there were, and I did spot another S172.

``Yanan: I should have tried them out, but I never thought I would have to use them for this! ``Qualla: The old ones were not half as powerful. We will need some more gold mined for the Girls, so perhaps we can test them? ``Yanan: Are you coming tomorrow? ``Qualla: Zaa. ``Yanan: Will you stay? ``Qualla: Zaa.

Captain: Relief.
